Nehalem

Core i5 pertama menggunakan mikroarsitektur Nehalem diperkenalkan pada tanggal 8 September 2009, sebagai varian utama dari Core i7 sebelumnya, intiLynnfield. Lynnfield Core i5 memiliki 8 MB ​​L3 cache, bus DMI berjalan pada 2,5 GT / s dan dukungan untuk dual-channel DDR3-800/1066/1333 memori dan memiliki Hyper-threading cacat.
